Refurbished Alltech ELSD 2000 Evaporative Light Scanning Detector (2000ELSD) complete with control software and manuals. The 2000 ELSD is perfect as a stand-alone HPLC unit or as an addition to a HPLC system. The ELSD 2000 detects any compound less volatile than the mobile phase to low nanogram levels, independent of optical properties or functional groups. (Light Source: Laser diode with collimating optics, 670nm, max output less than 5mW, Class IIIA.)
FEATURES
* Detects All Compounds with Outstanding Sensitivity
* Outperforms RI, Low-Wavelength UV, and other ELSDs
* Provides Accurate Sample Concentration
* Delivers Optimum Results for All Applications
The ELSD 2000 outperforms traditional HPLC detectors for analyzing difficult and non-chromophoric samples such as carbohydrates, lipids, surfactants, polymers, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, amino acids, and natural products. It detects any compound less volatile than the mobile phase, independent of functional groups or optical properties. Detector response is related to the mass of the analyte, which gives a closer representation of sample mass than UV detectors. Mobile phase is evaporated before detection occurs, eliminating solvent fronts and providing stable baselines with gradients. Please contact us for complete used and refurbished Alltech HPLC instrument, warranty and service contract details. (2000 ELSD)
